Golondrinos aka Barn Swallows

Some poor quality photos of the golondrinos that make little clay nests under the patio's overhang ceiling. Any covered patio that I've seen in this area has at least a few golondrino nests. You can see in some photos (if you squint, sorry these guys weren't very photogenic and it was hard to get any decent shots into the shady corners) that when the roofs were painted the nests were painted to match as well.
Below is a drawing I found online to show what this bird looks like if you aren't familiar with them. What I can't show is how they swoop around in circles, like they are playing tag and the nests are a safety zone. They glide so fast and so near to one's head, it's almost unbelievable. Also, what I am too proper to have taken a photo of is the "waste buckets". On the floor under each nest where I stayed there is a bucket to catch their droppings. And these birds go A LOT, they are very messy too. The birds are tolerated because no one seems to know how to make them go away and while their landlord's complain I think they secretly like them.
